FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an injection unit for feeding a fluid composition into molten polymer material at high pressure. Apparatus includes a reservoir containing a liquid composition at ambient temperature and pressure, which is connected to a first eccentric screw pump (PCP), which is configured to accurately dispense the liquid composition into a second PCP, which is downstream relative to the first PCP and is configured possibility to increase pressure of liquid composition by 200 bar or more. Downstream of the second PCP there is a supply valve intended to control the passage of the liquid composition through the outlet into the pressurized stream of molten polymer material which is in the extruder.

EFFECT: unit provides accurate dosing of liquid composition under high pressure into polymer material in extruder at relatively low wear of pumps.
