FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of aircraft engine in flight monitoring. Method comprises the following steps: for at least one characteristic engine operating frequency, measuring at least one synchronous vibration level value, for at least one module of said engine, imbalance value of said module is evaluated depending on measured value or measured values of vibration level and from at least one sensitivity coefficient. Further, the balancing margin of said module is evaluated depending on the magnitude of unbalance of said module and the maximum threshold, estimating the number of flights of said aircraft remaining before balancing, and/or quality indicator of previous balancing depending on estimated value or estimated values of balancing margin and from data characterizing past balances of engine.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of scheduling the next balancing and assessing the quality of balancing already performed.
