FIELD: fault-finding in flying vehicle engine rotors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be used for finding faults in rotors of flying vehicle engines equipped with measuring devices for determination of vibrations and speed for collection of data characterizing the rotor speed, amplitude and phase of vibrations during monitored flights. Proposed method includes the following operations: reading-off collected data, calculation of average vector of vibrations in selected interval of rotor speeds on basis of collected data, calculation of difference of vectors between average vector of vibrations of monitored flight and average vector of vibrations of reference flight for selected interval of rotor speeds, comparison of said difference of vectors with preset threshold magnitude and generation of alarm signal if modulus of said difference of vectors exceeds said threshold magnitude. These operations are performed according to results of reference flight.
EFFECT: improved functioning of engine; enhanced safety of flight of flying vehicle.
