FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used, mainly, for evaluation of deformations of shaft supports in order to determine efficiency of their design and / or availability of required gaps for operation of piston and cylinder seals under conditions of loads close to application conditions. According to the method, a piston with a rod is installed into a position when there is a working fluid in the piston cavity. Cylinder is positioned in the initial position relative to the frame measuring base. Then measuring elements are installed in the measuring contact with the cylinder surface, in the form of four rectilinear displacements indicators, which are fixed relative to measuring base in pairs, on opposite sides from longitudinal axis of cylinder, into two mutually perpendicular lines of measurement in measurement plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of cylinder before creation or change of load on hydraulic cylinder, and with possibility of displacement of measurement contact places with cylinder surface. Prior to creation or change of load on hydraulic cylinder indicators are installed so that rectilinear movements line of indicators is perpendicular to measured surface. Readings of the measuring elements are recorded, and then the load on the hydraulic cylinder is created or changed directed along the straight line connecting the centers of the hinge supports of the rod and the cylinder. After that readings are recorded again. Measurements are carried out between parallel lines drawn tangentially to measured surfaces of cylinder before and after change of load. By difference of readings of measuring elements before and after change of load on the basis of data of displacements of its external surface, taking into account distance from center of articulated support of cylinder to measurement plane, determining the value and direction of inclination of the longitudinal axis of the cylinder from initially set values, taking into account of which radial deformations of the cylinder are determined in its cross section.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of labor intensity of installation of measuring elements in contact with cylinder surface, by eliminating their nondetachable connection between each other, as well as providing determination of radial deformations and angle of inclination of longitudinal axis of cylinder from initial value after change of load without using additional measuring devices.
