SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machine building. System for measuring agricultural crops for a baler has a compression system for forming a bale and a feeding system for selecting agricultural crops from the surface and transporting the agricultural crop into a compression system. Agricultural crop measurement system comprises a sensor device having at least one sensor connected to at least one of the compression system or feed system. At least one sensor generates a signal corresponding to an agricultural crop load on at least one of the compression system or feed system. Agricultural crop measurement system comprises a control unit configured to receive a signal from the sensor device and calculate agricultural crop weight data based on the at least signal.
EFFECT: system provides accurate determination of value associated with mass flow of agricultural crops through a baler.
