FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building and can be used in bales making. Agricultural baler comprises compaction chamber, mean for introduction of batches of plant material into compaction chamber, plunger for pressing of plant material into bale in chamber and actuator. Compaction chamber comprises multiple walls, including at least one movable wall section. Actuator adjusts position of at least one moving wall section in response to output signal of density control system for changing bale density. Density control system comprises sensor for measuring position of at least one moving wall section, comparator of said position with some limit state and decision making module. When specified position exceeds limit state, decision making module stops actuator movement.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides control of density of bales in high density balers.
