SUBSTANCE: induction heating device (1) for heating aerosol-forming substrate (2) containing susceptor (22); wherein device comprises: housing (10) of device, comprising cavity (11), having inner surface (110), made in form with possibility of containing at least portion of aerosol-forming article (2), coil (L), arranged so that it surrounds at least part of cavity (11), electric power source (12) and electronic power circuit (14) connected to electric power supply (12) and coil (L) and intended for AC supply to coil (L), wherein said coil is a single coil (L), having a plurality of connecting taps (L11, L21, L31, L12, L22, L32) arranged at different points along the coil length to separate the single coil (L) into a plurality of separate coil segments (L1, L2, L3), and electronic power circuit (14) is made with possibility of separate AC supply to each separate coil segment (L1; L2; L3).

EFFECT: disclosed is an induction heating device for heating an aerosol-generating substrate containing a susceptor.
