FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire safety and can be used in piezoelectric engineering, for example, as pyroelectric power sources. Disclosed is a self-contained fire detector consisting of a sensitive element, additional devices connected to it and converting a primary signal into a secondary radio signal which is convenient for use in actuating devices, as well as an autonomous power supply. Detection feature is that sensitive element is made of pyroelectric, which reacts to heating by accumulation of electric energy on it, which gives part of it as from power supply source, when it reaches a certain level, in the form of a primary signal, through a discharge device connected to the SE and operating in a relay mode (on/off), into a primary to secondary converter.
EFFECT: disclosed is a fire detector.
