FIELD: fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: transmitting in real time data from heat, smoke wire, flame, self-contained smoke detectors, linear smoke detector, oxygen sensor, a carbon monoxide sensor, a carbon dioxide sensor to the inputs of the fire alarm control and indicating equipment to a personal computer, where they are stored and read with interval of 2 seconds using a neural network pre-trained using experimental data obtained inside a test bench with typical potentially combustible materials. Based on the read data, a list of triggered fire detectors and sensors is formed, and for each of them, the response time relative to the first triggered fire detector or sensor is recorded. Response time of the first fire detector or sensor is taken to be zero. Then, comparing the list of triggered fire detectors and sensors and their response time with the data on which the neural network is trained, the type of combustible material is identified.
EFFECT: accuracy of fire detection and determination of combustible material type.
