FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hygienic absorbent articles, in particular to disposable absorbent articles for personal hygiene for women. Absorbing article comprises a liquid-permeable surface layer, a liquid-impermeable barrier layer, an absorbent core located between the surface and barrier layers, comprising a mixture of a superabsorbent polymer and an adhesive. Superabsorbent polymer is presented in an amount of about 50 to about 98 wt. %, and the adhesive is present in an amount of about 50 to about 2 wt. %, wherein the mixture is distributed over the surface of the adjacent layer in an amount which covers more than 80 % of the total surface area of the adjacent layer, and has strength for vertical delamination of more than 9 N.
EFFECT: absorbent articles are characterized by extremely low thickness, high absorbency and excellent structural integrity properties despite high content of superabsorbent polymer.
