Snowmobile comprises frame, ski, endless drive caterpillar track, engine, dual seat, left and right footsteps. Frame comprises a longitudinally extending tunnel. Step is intended for installation on the lateral side of the longitudinally passing tunnel of the snowmobile and contains multiple interconnected ribs. First edge passes in the first direction. Each first rib has upper and lower surfaces defining first rib height. Each first rib has a pair of vertical surfaces of the first rib. Height of first rib exceeds thickness of first rib. Second rib is connected to the first rib. Second rib extends in the second direction. Second direction is located at an angle to the first direction.

EFFECT: reduced loss of adhesion between caterpillar tracks and snow.
