SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals. First object is an ophthalmic agent for preventing and/or treating meibomian gland dysfunction in the form of eye drops, containing 0.01 to 0.5 wt. %/vol. of Sirolimus or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as a single active ingredient, where eye drops are a suspension. Second and third objects are a method for preventing and/or treating meibomian gland dysfunction, involving ocular administration of an agent in the form of eye drops, where the eye drops represent a suspension, containing from 0.01 to 0.5 wt. %/vol. of Sirolimus or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as a single active ingredient, where said agent is introduced into eyes 2 times a day.

EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention and/or treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction by means of the invention.
