FIELD: communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering, particularly magnetic communication, and is intended for organizing an information transmission channel by modulating low-frequency magnetic fields and can be used in designing various underground, underwater and other communication systems. Transmitter has a digital modulator with two outputs; at the first output a single-bit discrete frequency- or phase-shift keyed signal is formed, and at the second output there is a digital signal corresponding to the amplitude of the transmitted signal. Outputs of modulator are connected to bridge voltage inverter, and number of transistors in each upper arm of bridge circuit corresponds to number of levels of amplitudes of signals of selected type of digital manipulation. Selection of operating pair of transistors of upper arms is performed using a multiplexer controlled by a signal from the second output of the modulator, and frequency and phase of transistor switching are set by a circuit for controlling transistors of the bridge circuit as per the signal from the first output of the modulator.
EFFECT: technical result is high spectral efficiency of near-field magnetic communication system while providing wide bandwidth of transmitting magnetic antenna.
