FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbine nozzle assembly with variable geometry comprises adjustable nozzle blade including fixed and sliding parts. Fixed part is attached to nozzle wall plate surface and comprises first sliding surface. Sliding part comprises second sliding surface with flow destructor. Sliding part is arranged to slide in direction from, in fact, tangent to inner circumference of turbine nozzle assembly and selectively open the flow destructor located when the sliding part is not diverted from the fixed part, in contact with the first sliding surface. In operation of variable-geometry turbine nozzle, position of plurality of adjustable nozzle blades is adjusted to position the first and second positions. In the first position, the flow destructor is exposed on part of the surface of each of the plurality of adjustable nozzle blades. In the second position, the flow destructor is hidden from the gas flow.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to reduce the intensity of shock waves on the mode of braking by the engine while maintaining aerodynamic efficiency in other modes.
