FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electroplating and can be used for application of metal coatings on parts of complex shape with large number of blind holes of small diameter. Method involves chemical nickel plating of parts, chemical activation, electrochemical copper coating in pyrophosphate electrolyte, electrochemical silvering, washing in water submerged method before electrochemical coppering, wherein washing is carried out in a solution containing water and 100 g/l of K4P2O7, at pH 8–9, and electrochemical coppering is carried out at density of cathode current of 0.7 A/dm2, at temperature of electrolyte 40 °C and its mixing with compressed air, wherein copper pyrophosphate electrolyte contains, g/l: CuSO4⋅5H2O 60–90; K4P2O7 300–330.
EFFECT: invention improves the quality of the copper coating by improving electrolyte properties, particularly the electrolyte scattering and coating ability, as well as improved washing conditions after activation of the nickel coating.
