SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing protective element (1), wherein method provides for main film (10) having first bearing film (11) and single- or multilayer decorative layer (13), wherein first adhesive layer (30) is applied on second bearing film (40) and second layer (15) of adhesive material is applied on surface of first bearing film (11) facing from decorative layer (13) surface of first bearing film (11), or second layer of adhesive material is applied on facing from decorative layer (13) surface of first bearing film (11), and first layer of adhesive material is applied on second layer of adhesive material, and wherein second bearing film (40) on first bearing film is applied such that first layer (30) of adhesive material and second layer (15) of adhesive material are placed between first bearing film (11) and second bearing film (40), - and wherein first layer (30) of adhesive material (30) is activated in first region (31), which at least covers first section (21) of main film (10) at least partially, and, however, in first layer (30) of adhesive material adjoining said region (31) of second region (32) is not activated, is not provided, only partially provided or deactivated, - wherein first bearing film (11) is dissected, at least partially along defining, at least, first section (21) and separating, at least, first section (21) from second section (22) of main film (10) boundary line, and wherein second portion (22) of the second main film portion (10) is removed from the second carrier film (40), wherein at least on first portion (21), main film (10) by the activated first adhesive material layer are engaged with second bearing film (40), and including, at least, first section (21) first part of main film (10) remains on second bearing film (40).
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of making a security element, as well as a portable film.
