FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway equipment, particularly to methods of electromechanical monitoring of state of insulating joint, and can be used in automation and telemechanics, as well as in track facilities. Method of electromechanical control of insulating joint state consists in its periodic inspection. At that, each wheel pair running to the joint creates pressure and generates signals, amplitudes of which are compared to unbalance level of insulating joint, and by its condition breakdown or unbalance degree is determined.
EFFECT: increased safety of train movement and increased service life of insulating joint.
