FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of natural gas transportation and is intended to reduce temperature of the transported gas after compression in the pump of the gas compressor unit before its supply to the main gas line. Plant for cooling natural gas at compressor stations comprises a flow divider for pumping gas flow into two parts and a gas ejector and a turbo-expander installed at the discharge section from the process pipeline, arranged in series on a process pipeline downstream the supercharger of the gas compressor unit. Ends of pipeline offtake section are connected, respectively, to one outputs of flow divider directly and through turboexpander to nozzle of ejected gas of gas ejector, nozzle of ejecting gas of which is connected to other output of flow divider. It is expedient to divide the flow of pumped gas into two parts in the form of an adjustable valve.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of gas temperature reduction process and reduction of electric energy and maintenance costs.
