FIELD: transportation of natural gas.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation of natural gas and is intended to reduce temperature of transported gas after compression in gas compressor unit before its supply to main gas line. Plant for cooling natural gas at compressor stations comprises placed on the process pipeline: a pumped gas flow divider into two parts, gas pumping unit and liquid-gas ejector installed on the branch pipe section connected to one of their outputs of the flow divider, turboexpander with load in form of electric current generator and tank for liquefied natural gas with discharge branch pipe for non-condensed gas component. Flow divider is installed before gas pumping unit. Tank for liquefied natural gas by means of a discharge branch pipe, with a pump installed on it, is connected to a nozzle of ejecting liquid of a liquid-gas ejector, to nozzle of ejected gas of which a discharge branch pipe for non-condensed gas component is connected.

EFFECT: providing supply of gas with low temperature and pressure to the turboexpander and reducing gas temperature after the supercharger without loss of its pressure and volumetric flow rate.
