SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended for use in radio communication systems using frequency-adaptive operating mode or mode with pseudo-random tuning of operating frequency. In the active working frequency control method, report to the transmitting side the quality of the channel at the frequency at which the prepared test unit was received, wherein at the moment when the prepared test unit is received at the current frequency, simultaneously report to the transmitting side the quality of the communication channel at the previous frequency.
EFFECT: reduced time spent on selection of working frequencies suitable for data transmission.
