FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: obturator tray is located between propellant charge and projectile. Tray has a side surface with driving belts, the surface facing the projectile is made in the form of a truncated cone facing the charge – in the form of two truncated cones with different taper. Along axis of tray passes longitudinal through channel for ignition of tracer element.
EFFECT: reduced vibration of the barrel and thrown body, reduced scattering during firing, increased accuracy of firing.
