FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to transfer of rotary motion from several engines to one shaft. Method of adding engine power and transmitting said power to the resultant shaft includes a universal self-centring system mounted on the shaft of each engine. System has outer and inner bases. On bases there fixed are sprockets connected by closed chain, geometrical centre of external base is determined by centre of circle. On sprockets of one of bases there fixed are gears transmitting torque to output shaft gear. Output shafts of each universal system are connected to resultant shaft, on which total power of all engines is concentrated.
EFFECT: enabling the design simplification.
