FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: continuously variable-ratio bicycle drive comprises a driving wheel and a driven sprocket, covered by a chain. The driven sprocket is fixed to one of the bases of a universal self-centering system having coinciding rotation axes of the bases and a variable geometric center of one of the bases. Gears fixed on sprockets, rollers, or pulleys of one of the bases have gearing with a gear on the outlet shaft.
EFFECT: possibility to change the bicycle transmission ratio is reached without changing the sprockets interacting with the chain, included in the drive.
