FIELD: pyrotechnics.

SUBSTANCE: green fire pyrotechnic composition is related to pyrotechnic compositions based on metal nitrates, which are designed to form coloured fire when burned by the chemical interaction of several solid substances and is intended to form a green fire signal, which is used in signalling and target designation. The green fire pyrotechnic composition contains barium nitrate and potassium perchlorate as oxidizers, aluminium-magnesium alloy powder as a metal fuel, KhP-66T chlorinated paraffin as a colour enhancer, calcium stearate as a technological additive, and SF-342A phenol-formaldehyde resin powder as an organic binder. A 20% solution of fluororubber SKF-32 in acetone was introduced into the composition as a cementing agent. The ratio of components, in % by weight, is as follows: barium nitrate 52-55, potassium perchlorate 18-21, chlorinated paraffin KhP-66T 8.0-10.5, of aluminium-magnesium alloy powder PAM-4 8.0-8.5, phenol-formaldehyde resin SF-342A 5-7, calcium stearate 1.5-2.0, fluororubber SKF-32 as dry matter 1.5-2.0.

EFFECT: improved parameters of pyrotechnic composition of green fire.
