FIELD: filtration.
SUBSTANCE: device for filtration of large volumes of water includes a housing, filtering elements, which are made in the form of cylindrical cartridges inserted one into another and placed between each other coaxially with a gap. Each cylindrical cartridge is formed from a mesh fixed outside the cylindrical frame from vertical ribs. Cylindrical cartridge lower part is closed by a plug rigidly connected to the cartridge. Cylindrical cartridges of each filter element are arranged relative to each other with reduction of mesh cells size in compliance with filtration direction from the outside to inside. In upper part of housing there are tube plates with holes, which hermetically separate body cavity to different-level zones. Each zone is equipped with two branch pipes for water supply and discharge. Any hole on the tube boards is aligned with the corresponding holes of other levels. Cylindrical cartridges made of mesh with identical size of cells are fixed in holes of one tube plate. Cartridges of one filter element are installed coaxially on pipe plates. Set of filter elements is arranged in housing with provision of equal distance from each other. Upper part of every cylindrical cartridge is secured to tube plate by means of tight connection.
EFFECT: high quality and fineness of filtration with simplification of filter design, reduced time required for filter cleaning, longer regeneration period, simplified maintenance.
