FIELD: radar ranging.
SUBSTANCE: method for radar detection of a trajectory of a target relates to radar ranging, specifically to methods of detecting moving aerial targets by active ground-based or on-board radar stations, and can be used in a radar station for detecting aerial targets which perform sequential regular survey of a given area of space. Said result is achieved due to that when trajectory of target is detected by trajectory points coordinates of resolution elements selected for K survey periods by criterion of maximum amplitudes of signals are selected.
EFFECT: increased range of target trajectory detection at sequential regular survey of radar station of given area of space.
