FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, namely to cartridges for hunting smooth-bore shotguns. Gun cartridge comprises cartridge carrying polymer wad container of two fixed on common bottom shutter, filled with shot coaxial cylinders, caliber of which is equipped with longitudinal slots forming lobes, and propellant powder charge initiated by axial primer-igniter. In gauging cylinder of wad-container there is a steel shot, and in central one – there is a lead shot, at comparable weight of grains, ratio of diameters of which is selected in reverse ratio of specific weights of their materials. Lobes of caliber cylinder are formed in pairs by diametral slots along generatrixes of central angle 60°.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of hitting action of hunting rifle cartridge with maximum possible simplification of its design.
