FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction materials and specifically to additives used in making gypsum mixtures and articles based thereon with radioprotective properties. Besides, the developed organomineral modifier will make it possible to create self-packing mixtures and to use semi-dry method of products production based on gypsum binder with casting method of their molding. Improved physical and mechanical properties of articles based on gypsum binder, such as compression strength and water resistance, as well as imparting radioprotective properties to them will significantly expand the field of use thereof, including for protection from electromagnetic radiation. Organomineral modifier for gypsum mixtures and radioprotective articles based thereon contains, wt. %: hydraulic binder 35.65–55.4, metakaolin 7.13–11.08, aqueous solution of polycarboxylate ester Glenium Sky 591 2.67–4.16, super-plasticizer "Best-SPL" 0.89–1.38, organosilicon compound N-octyltriethoxysilane 0.18–0.28, ground schungite 27.7–53.48, wherein the degree of shungite grinding is 200–300 m2/kg, metakaolin hydraulic activity is not less than 1200 mg/g.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining an organomineral modifier for gypsum mixtures based on low-quality semi-aqua-gypsum, which increases the compressive strength and water resistance of articles based on them, as well as imparting radioprotective properties to them.
