FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for preparing an agent for treating inflammatory diseases of the upper and lower airways. Method for preparing an agent for treating inflammatory diseases of upper and lower airways, by grinding plant material to nanopowder, wherein aspen bark (Populus tremula L) is ground to particle size of 1–2 mm, dried to moisture content of 8–10 %, nanodispersed in roller-type mill to particle size of 50–150 nm, then subjected to continuous extraction by repercolation, combined solution after settling is concentrated in vacuum to 70 % of dry substances at temperature of 50 °C with subsequent drying of the powder in vacuum to 3.8–5.5 wt. % content of salicin, arabinogalactanes 4.2–10.1 wt. %, polyphenols 3.9–7.2 wt. %.
EFFECT: method described above enables to obtain an agent with high output of a complex of biologically active substances, high efficiency of treating respiratory organs in upper and lower airway damages, fewer side effects, high availability of biologically active substances.
