FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing in which there are annular slots with conical inner surfaces for installation of balancing rings with sector cutouts. Rings are installed in slots by compression by value providing ring fixation relative to housing during acceleration and braking. Calibration scale is made on housing to estimate position of ring cuts relative to housing. There is reduced vibration due to imbalance of the tool and higher quality of machining and longer life of the spindle bearings of the machine tool at high angular speeds of the tool.
EFFECT: device makes it possible to eliminate imbalance on auxiliary tool in assembly with cutting tool.
