FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for polishing internal annular surfaces of complex profile in bearing industry. Processed rings are placed in cylindrical containers, grinding material is dosed loaded, process liquid is poured, containers are tightly closed by end covers, which fix packs of rings, containers are installed in seats of carrier of planetary mechanism, planetary rotation and axial oscillating motions are imparted to them. Circular frequency of axial oscillations is established from condition of displacement of abrasive particles along generatrix of rings at their compaction by inertial forces, and the working weight of the container is determined based on the volume of the inner cavity of the pack of rings and the porosity of the layer of abrasive particles of the grinding material, which are transformed into a dense rheological bar on the processed surfaces of the rings in the form of a segment in the cross section of the container.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of processing rings due to uniform removal of metal.
