FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solid aerosol tube or a balloon for storing aerosols containing a coating composition on at least part of its inner surface and a method of providing a solid aerosol tube or bottle. Coating composition includes a thermosetting powder composition which practically does not contain bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol F (BPF), diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (BADGE) and diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F (BFDGE). Thermosetting powder composition contains a polyester containing an acid functional group, and a cross-linking agent, the function of which consists in cross-linking the acid functional group of the polyester. Acid number of the polyester containing the acid functional group is at least 25 mg KOH/g. Method involves applying a thermosetting powder coating composition onto a metal substrate using ultra corona discharge.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a coating for use inside solid aerosol tubes or cylinders which are capable of withstanding the action of corrosive chemicals stored in such cylinders.
