SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for making a band-type tape for use in a cigarette filter, in which filaments made from cellulose-acetate fibres are joined together into a bundle and crimped, wherein the apparatus for making the band-type band comprises a winding device configured to coil and feed the thread, which is formed by binding together in the bundle of multiple filaments, at that, the winding device includes a pair of rollers supported with rotation so that the peripheral surfaces of the corresponding rollers face each other; a pair of plate elements arranged after a pair of rollers in the filament feed direction, wherein the plate elements are arranged such that a gap is formed between them, and such that the flat surfaces of the respective plate elements face each other; and an acting member disposed in said gap, wherein the action element acts on the thread such that the thread is pressed on the flat surface of one of the pair of plate elements, and at least part of one of the pair of plate elements adjacent to pair of rollers is arranged so that said gap gradually increases in thread supply direction, wherein denier of filament is not less than 6.0 and not more than 11.0, total denier is not less than 5,000 and not more than 15,000, and value Cv of number of coils of rope band is not more than 4 %.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of pressure drop for thin cigarette filter.
