FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat equipment and can be used in plate heat exchangers. Wire separator (20) for separation of two adjacent heat transfer plates (2, 4) of plate heat exchanger (1). Wire separator (20) is made of a bent wire which alternately supports two adjacent heat transfer plates (2, 4), while passing along channel (6, 8) for heat exchanger (1) fluid. Wire separator (20) has first and second support segments (24, 26), which perform function of supporting plates, and separating segments (28) to maintain minimum vertical distance (Δy) between heat transfer plates (2, 4) during heat exchanger operation. First lower support segments (24) are made by wire paths (32) forming plane (S1) coinciding with upper surface of lower heat transfer plate (2), and allow wire separator (20) to maintain invariability of its orientation relative to heat transfer plates.

EFFECT: technical result is simplification of heat exchanger assembly.
