FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of rare elements, in particular to methods of using organic sorbents for extraction of rhenium (VII) ions from aqueous solutions, including for subsequent determination of their concentration. Sorption extraction of rhenium from aqueous solutions is carried out. Sorption is carried out in a medium of an acetate buffer under static conditions with an organic sorbent while maintaining certain pH values and the sorbent : solution ratio with subsequent separation of the sorbent. Organic sorbent used is a polyallylamine-based sorbent, and the sorption is carried out while maintaining the pH value = 2.8–5.1.
EFFECT: invention increases degree of sorption of rhenium from aqueous solutions.
