FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pointing devices. Device contains small-size electric accumulators, semiconductor chipset, including microcontrollers, "mouse" controls, optical units for tracking movement of a mouse relative to a reference surface, which are part of microcontrollers, and wireless interfaces for connecting a mouse to a computer. Device is made up of two accumulators stacked one above the other and parallel to each other between the front in the core by the chipset module and the rear plate with two horizontal projections attached to the chipset modules, and forming vertical comb clamped between two fingers of user's hand, for which movement of "mouse" is performed relative to support surface and divided into main, providing power supply rear in the pair of module of chipset, and spare, provided in the design in case of discharge and/or fault main battery and capable, after rearrangement by user in place of main, provide power supply instead.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the pointing device "mouse" and reduction of its weight.
