SUBSTANCE: device contains the compact rectangular case and with the space from above designed for the user fingers, the "mouse" controls, the chipset and the wired or wireless interface. The case consists of the interconnected casing modules, which are the unified component parts of the case, carrying on/in itself the front vertical protuberance and the U-shaped stud, for which the case is moved relative to the support surface, and one or more "mouse" controls and miniature projectors with the image output on the support surface and/or the user hand. The chipset consists of one or more interconnected components, located in the case modules and is structurally configured to include inside itself one or more memory devices with the software keyboard for the data input into the computer, to which the "mouse" is connected and/or game programs, and/or "mouse" drivers.

EFFECT: creation of the modular pointing device, consisting of the interconnected case modules that allow changing the mouse functionality.
