FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the machine building. Vibration damping device contains two vibration isolators located inside support structure. Each vibration isolator contains at least four turns of spiral from steel rope. Turns are fixed on two support plates in diametrically opposite planes and are installed on support structure. Spiral coils on the side of limiting surfaces have different length. One of said turns is installed without gap between limiting surfaces of support structure and outer surface of spiral turns. Other turns are installed with gaps of different size with possibility of their alternate touching by external surfaces of limiting surface of support structure during loading of vibration damping device.
EFFECT: increase in the life of the device is achieved.
