FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; modified vibration isolating supports. SUBSTANCE: vibration isolating support of internal combustion engine has resilient member in form of closed spiral of toroidal shape made of steel cable, two strips installed on spiral coils in diametrically opposite planes of torus with clearance relative to each other corresponding to preset axial compression deformation of resilient member. Support has also means to limit extension of resilient member made in form of ring enclosing inner semicoils of torus and means to limit compression of resilient member made either in form of split ring secured on one of strips with clearance relative to opposite strip corresponding to preset compression deformation, or in form of cup installed on one of strips with clearance between its side walls and outer diameter of resilient member spiral equal to 0.5-0.7 of value of axial deformation of resilient member at preset nominal load, or in form at least three supports of one height secured on one of strips with clearance relative to opposite strip.
