FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dampers and can be used for protection against vibration and impacts caused by ground, sea and air vehicles. There are bases with cylindrical recesses, facing each other, and lengthwise slots on opposite surfaces. The said recesses feature threaded holes, the slots are furnished with smooth holes. The flexible cable is coiled. The cylindrical springs are fitted in the base recesses. The cable position retainers feature threaded holes aligned with the aforesaid smooth holes of the base lengthwise clots. Each of the retainers are fitted in appropriate lengthwise slot of appropriate base made in appropriate surface facing the other surface to interact with the cable coils and the base. The base sides facing each other are furnished with crosswise slots arranged perpendicular and/or at an angle to the base side surfaces. The cable coils are wound in two spirals and arranged in the base crosswise slots to form a loop at the central part. The number of crosswise slots in one base is smaller by two coils than that on the other base. The number of smooth holes in the latter base and that of threaded holes in the retainer abutting on the aforesaid base are smaller by two smooth and threaded holes in the other base and other retainer. The ends of retainers, wall and crosswise slot bottom are rounded off.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of damping.
