SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer engineering. Method for assessing the robustness of cyber physical systems to computer attacks, characterized in that in a database on a database server, a list of rules of operation of the CPS is generated, then for all processes of CPS are assigned weight coefficients, then values of coefficients for each process are recorded in a database, then for each process CPS, presented as a route on the graph, searching for alternative routes, then found for each process alternative routes form multiple alternative routes, for each set its power is calculated, then calculating stability assessment of cyber physical system to computer attacks by calculating sum of products of number of alternative routes for route, reflecting each process of KPS, by weight coefficient of corresponding process, then the value of the calculated estimate is stored in the database as a "reference" value, then stability is evaluated at different moments of time and the values of the obtained estimates are controlled, which consists in comparing the obtained values with a "reference" value or with a range of values.

EFFECT: high degree of protection of the cyber physical system from computer attacks.
