SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless data transmission, specifically to a method of seeking permission for media transmission and a method of canceling permission for media transmission. To achieve technical result, first terminal is determined, that second terminal is required to transmit media data; and transmitting, by a first terminal, information indicating a media transmission permission request to a critical service server (MCS), where mediation request indication information is used to instruct the MCS server to grant media transmission permission to the second terminal. To cancel media transmission permission, determining by means of the first terminal that the second terminal has received media transmission permission for transmitting media data, and transmitting, via a first terminal, a remote transmission reset message to the target server, wherein the remote transmission reset message is used to instruct the target server to cancel the media transfer permission of the second terminal. Target server is a critical service server (MCS) or a transmission control server.
