SUBSTANCE: method includes the following stages: the controller sending an alarm about the communication connection quality to the terminal when the controller, during the media data stream transmission between the data merge apparatus and the remote apparatus, detects that the quality parameter of the communication connection for transmitting the media data stream does not comply with a preset threshold value of the quality parameter; and the terminal receiving the new target media data description information according to the alert and sends a media data switching request containing the new target media description information to the controller in order to create a target media data plane with the remote apparatus for interaction associated with the media data stream.
EFFECT: provided is normal multimedia communication given a low quality of the communication connection network for transmitting a media data stream between the data merging apparatus and a remote apparatus.
