SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of generating a recommendation for presentation to a user within a user's web browser context. Recommendations may contain, for example, proposed information resources and/or search requests. Such recommendations can be presented to a user as part of a new page tab or within an address line of a graphical user interface of a web browser. According to the additional embodiments, the user device data are used by the search engine to generate search results and/or to rank the search results.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing more relevant search results and improved ranking of search results.
