FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a structure for cleaning a holistic channel along a perimeter by means of a light guide conducting a laser beam. Penetration of the laser beam into the light guide is interrupted when the free end of the light guide is outside the channel and/or the movement of the light guide in the channel is monitored, and if there is no movement or movement below the threshold value, the signal is switched on and/or the laser radiation is switched off or its output power is reduced.
EFFECT: disclosed are a method and a structure for cleaning a channel.
