FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, in particular to a method and device for sealing a channel along its perimeter. Sealing element is attached to one free end of the light guide conducting the laser beam. Light guide with the sealing element is inserted into the channel.
EFFECT: sealing element is placed in section of channel to be sealed, and after arrangement of sealing element energy is supplied so that sealing element is melted or softened and remains in this position in channel and tightly seals it.
