SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in the treatment of destructive forms of chronic periodontitis of single-rooted and/or multi-rooted teeth. When implementing the method, the technology of transchannel laser non-pigment photoablation is used. The method includes carrying out chemomechanical treatment of root canals, widening the canal to size 35 according to ISO and drying it, carrying out transcanal laser photoablation using laser radiation in a nanosecond pulsed radiation mode with an average radiation power of 1.6 W and a pulse duration of 200 ns by immersing the fiber into the canal to the apical ledge with a pause between pulses of 100 ns and an exposure time of 60 s. Reorganization of the lesion is carried out within 45 s, the procedure of transcanal laser photoablation is repeated three times every other day, after which the obturation of the root canal is carried out by the method for lateral condensation.

EFFECT: by reducing surgical invasion by removing the pathological focus through the root canal using laser radiation and accelerating bone tissue regeneration against the background of pronounced anti-inflammatory, bactericidal action, the method allows reducing the time and increasing the effectiveness of treatment of the disease.
