FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pyroxylin high-energy powders and can be used for production of gunpowder to reusable barrel systems, namely propellant charges (PC) of a shot of tank artillery. Technical result is achieved by composing a formulation based on cellulose nitrates as a combustible binder, hexogen (RDX) as a crystalline energy filler, diphenylamine as a chemical resistance stabilizer, a residual solvent-plasticiser – diethyleneglycol monoethyl ether (ethylcarbitol) and water with an appropriate ratio of components.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of powder inflammability, increase of combustion speed, improvement of production and operation safety.
