SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a toilet seat comprising a cover, a seat attachment brackets, a seat-restoring mechanism based on a torsion spring on a shaft enclosed in a housing, which is rigidly fixed in seat lug, shaft with spring is installed in housing and fixed on one side through washer and nut, and on other side it comes out of housing and is fixed in lid of cover. Toilet seat additionally has a device that holds the lid open. On the side of the gap between the housing and the eye of the lid the shaft has a groove with a sealing ring.
EFFECT: reliability of the structure protected from external polluting factors, safety in use and possibility of correction is achieved as a result.
