FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a seal assembly of a heat power plant, which relates to a system for sealing on a liquid basis, namely for sealing shafts of centrifugal pumps of engines in machine building and instrument engineering. Seal assembly comprises housing with lubricant for bearings serving as support for pressure chambers communicated via pipeline with valve and pump. Atmospheric pressure chamber is connected via pipeline and valve with backup capacity of sealing liquid. Pressure chamber has an opening in the high pressure/rarefaction area for pressure balancing, and the atmospheric pressure chamber has a communication hole with atmosphere. Chambers are equipped with float-type sensors.
EFFECT: sealing assembly ensures the possibility of maintaining the sealing liquid level in the required volume for the plant operation and prevents freon leakage into the environment with the design simplicity.
